The Gulen Movement is fantastic at advertising, PR, and bestwowing fake honors on their students, politicians, local media and academia. The Parents4Magnolia blog is NOT American parents it is members of the Gulen Movement in damage control mode. Magnolia Science Academy, Pacific Technology School and Bay Area Technology is the name of their California schools. They are under several Gulen NGOs: Pacifica Institute, Willow Education, Magnolia Educaiton Foundation, Accord Institute, Bay Area Cultural Connection. Hizmet aka Gulen Movement will shamelessly act like satisifed American parents or students. They will lie, cajole, manipulate, bribe, blackmail, threaten, intimidate to get their way which is to expand the Gulen charter schools. If this doesn't work they play victim and cry "islamophobia". Beware of the Gulen propagandists and Gulen owned media outlets. 3 Magnolia Science Academies are now under the Los Angeles County Office of Education

Magnolia Science Academies #1, #2, and #3 (Reseda, Van Nuys and Carson) were denied their renewal by LAUSD. They applied to Los Angeles County BOE, and after recommendation from staff to deny and testimony from Cole-Guterriez of LAUSD Charter School Division. The LACOE board by 1 vote decided to allow Magnolia Science Academies to stay open with strict MOUs and agreements. Many of which don't seem to be happening, for instance the Board of Magnolia (MERF) are still predominately Gulenists and 3 board members are not from the community of Los Angeles and reside over 200 miles away. Principal John White of Magnolia #3 in Carson, is now gone replaced by another African American who has been A Gulen Magnolia Science Academmy staff for over 10 years., Does Shandrea Daniel know about the Gulen Movement or does she simply just need a job? Its very difficult to find a legitimate job in education once a Gulen charter school is on your resume, we believe Shandrewa does know, but simply chooses to bury her head in the sand as most Uncle Tom's do (yes masta) We hear she knows about the investigation of the pervert that was arrested at Carson, CA and has also vacationed in Turkey when the schools were allowed to take students, teachers and parents to Turkey. She even fully participated in the Anatolia Festival in Orange County. Ah the Gulenists love their stooges. Great job Shandrea, hope you take a good shower like John White, Kelly Hourigan and others that have been at Magnolia longer that 3 years, wash the Gulen stench off of you.

Shandrea learned the penchant for selfies from the Gulenists, they love taking photos of themselves especially with members of congress and other community leaders to appear credible. Shandrea's picture is amateur and she behaves like one of her students.

Magnolia Science Academy - Bell, CA and their visit to Turkey

This is their 2009 visit to Turkey that was called "European trip". Has anyone bothered to explain to these students that Turkey is NOT a part of Europe and will never be included into the European Union in the near future?
Human Rights and Civil Rights violations is the biggest reason why. Maybe they forgot to mention to these students that this Grand Mosque was built by the Greek Orthodox that inhabited the land 12 centuries before the invasion of Ottomans from Central Asia Mongolia? This Grand Mosque was in fact a Church called the St. Hagia Sophia before the Islamic regimes invaded and shamelessly converted it.
Today the St. Hagia Sophia has been converted into a museum with no mention of the first Christian inhabitants of a town called Constanipole now changed to Istanbul.
Learn about how it may not be safe for your children to travel to Turkey because of civil unrest. Gulen schools in Turkey are being attacked and on 11/20/2010 there was another bomb attack in Istanbul.
